ウェイブプールよりもパーフェクト？ポルトガルで驚きのタンカーサーフィン

映画『STEP INTO LIQUID』で有名になったアメリカ・テキサス州でのタンカーが起こした波でのサーフィン。
通称「タンカーサーフィン」

これはタンカーの航路と地形が絶妙のために起こったある意味自然現象で、最近ではVANSのライダー、Dylan Graveをフィーチャーした動画が話題になっていた。

そして、今回紹介する動画は中型のフェリーの移動によって起きた波でのサーフィン。
フェリーが通り過ぎてから編集されており、あまりに良い波なので、合成か？と疑ってしまうほど。

記事によると場所はポルトガルの首都リスボンに面した「テージョ川」
対岸にあるバレイロを結ぶ主に通勤に利用されるフェリーがこの波を発生させるとのこと。

毎朝7時から10時、10分置きにフェリーは運行され、波の大きさはフェリーの大きさ、速度、乗客数などで異なり、全く波にならない時もあれば、パイプラインのような波になる時もあるとか。

ポルトガルに行く機会があれば、トライしてみては？
